The project NoGravEx explores the possibility of simulating microgravity with an exoskeleton. Starting from the Recupera REHA exoskeleton a software component, that enables subject specific arm weight compensation will be implemented to give the user the feeling of micro gravitation. Further, a study will be conducted where subjects will move with and without the exoskeleton while muscle and brain activity (EMG / EEG) is recorded. The analysis of the EMG data will give first insights if simulated micro gravitation has an influence on the muscles of the subjects.
