On Friday, March 28, 2025, the Robotics Innovation Center invites you to take a look behind the scenes of robotics research and discover the latest developments in space robotics. Our experts will provide exciting insights into current projects, present the latest robotic technologies, and guide visitors through impressive test facilities such as the artificial lunar crater landscape and the Maritime Exploration Hall with its 3.4 million liter salt water tank, where systems can be tested in simulated weightlessness.
Discover how artificial intelligence and autonomous robots are being developed for use in orbit and on planetary surfaces, how they are revolutionising space exploration, and how they will play a key role in future missions to the Moon and Mars. Sustainability is a key challenge for the future of space: That's why we're researching modular, adaptable systems that are easier to maintain, upgrade and reuse. This will help reduce costs and minimise space debris.
