Objective of the xMove project is the development of a mobile prototype support system for workers in the assembly and inspection of aircrafts. A flexible production, assembly and inspection in future factories requires high mobility of employees. With motion sensors either on the body or integrate into workwear, the current work context should be recognized to provide the worker with relevant information, working instructions as well as notes on occupational safety and ergonomics. At the same time harmful malpositions can be recognized and made aware to the worker. Hereby work processes should be simplified, distances be reduced and faults be avoided.
