MyCarlot
Dynamic parking allocation and applications for parking guidance
Thirty percent of traffic jams in cities are caused by parking search. To optimize parking in cities, MyCarlot will develop an integrated smart parking solution, leveraging different sensor types, and vehicle to infrastructure communication. Advanced backend services will enable dynamic parking allocation and applications for parking guidance. A smart parking end-to-end infrastructure (parking sensors, backend, web-based administration services) will be integrated with a prototype of web, mobile, and in-car applications for drivers, providing parking information, parking guidance, and parking payment. In-field experiments will assess the technical and commercial feasibility of the MyCarlot approach in different scenarios.
