Project details
A central element of the projects combined in Module 3 “Fleet Tests” and proposed within the model region Electric Mobility Bremen/Oldenburg is the demonstration of the suitability of electric vehicles for daily use which is a prerequisite for a successful establishment of electric vehicles.
The focus of the investigation carried out in this project lies on the commercial use of electric vehicles. Within the process of integrating electric vehicles in existing vehicle fleets, for a limited space of time different types of vehicles and vehicle technologies were placed at the disposal of selected users in the model region Bremen/Oldenburg and integrated into daily operations. The use of these vehicles was monitored by the regional project management of the Model Region Bremen/Oldenburg and the PMC – Personal Mobility Center. In addition to technical data regarding the state of the system, the state of charge, the running order of the vehicles, and system load, the rides and the experiences gained by the users were documented and evaluated in the form of user profiles complemented by questionnaires. In parallel, users were questioned as to satisfaction, acceptance, and potential for improvement.
Vehicles were placed at the disposal of the following commercial users:
- Bremenports GmbH & Co KG
- Eurogate GmbH & Co KGaA, KG
- BLG Logistics Group AG & Co KG
- Stadt Langen
- Wirtschaftförderung Bremen GmbH
- Willenbrock Fördertechnik GmbH & Co. KG
