3D Surface Checking and Measuring using Turbulence Sensor

In this presentation I would like to explain about my master thesis

The aim of my master thesis is to create an automation tool to detect cracks and pores over a surface using the turbulence sensor and display the result 3 dimensionally. The automation tool is created with the help of a 6 axis robot and a laser distance sensor. A trajectory is calculated so that the turbulence sensor which is attached to the robot end-effector will move at a distance of 0.4mm from the surface and also perpendicular to the surface. The data from the robot and sensors are transferred to a personal computer where the surface along with any cracks or pores are shown 3 dimensionally.
