Underwater inspection of man made objects and mapping of marine habitats would greatly benefit from accurate underwater 3D sensing. To improve the resolution and robustness of camera or sonar based 3D reconstructions a new combined method is proposed fusing Structure from Motion with Structured Light and Sonar.
