Robotic component models and their usage in D-Rock

System-level design of an embedded system - to which a robot can be counted to - takes into account the whole structure of the system during the specification and realization of applications.
In other areas, like the digital signal processing community, system-level design is a well-established method, whereas robotic development frameworks do not yet address the entire robot architecture.

This talk will be about the ongoing efforts in the D-Rock project to model robotic software & hardware components and their usage in control system design, task distribution and verification
