AILA ISS - AILA in the International Space Station

Space robotics is becoming more and more important in recent years. Missions and situations that can be too risky for humans are well suited for robotic agents. However, autonomous manipulation and navigation in robotic systems is not yet advanced enough to deal with complex situations in space missions. Teleoperation on the other hand is an appropriate option. In the internal project AILA ISS we want to focus on the aspect of safe teleoperation and control of the humanoid robot AILA. This talk shall give a short overview of the project.
