Soft robotics is a recent trend of compliant and flexible systems. We will discuss the main advantages and constraints of these systems, comparing them to traditional rigid robotics while covering actuation methods, manufacturing and control, with use cases illustrated by soft manipulators developed at SENAI CIMATEC.
