Zusammenfassung (Abstract) :

The aim of RECUPERA-Reha is the development of an innovative exoskeleton, which can be used for the rehabilitation of stroke patients. It is essential to combine the combination of electromechanical innovations, complex control architectures and the use of physiological signals from the patient in order to support different training modalities. The combination of hierarchical control architectures and biosignals enables the system to support patients precisely in the form that patients are optimally supported and challenged within the framework of rehabilitation. In order to make the system usable for everyday use, it is necessary that it can operate independently from external hardware. This requires the use of alternative processing and hardware architectures.
