Within the program of the digital seminar and networking event, which starts at 8:30 (CET), Dr. Shivesh Kumar from the Robotics Innovation Center of the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) will present the current project VeryHuman at 9:50 (CET) as an example for the excellent and innovative robotics research in Germany. In the project VeryHuman, funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), scientists from the DFKI Robotics Innovation Center and Cyber-Physical Systems research departments are working on an innovative method that will make the walking control of a humanoid robot particularly effective and ensure that the robot acts correctly, reliably, and safely in relation to its environment.
In addition to Kumar's presentation other experts from German robotics companies and research institutions as well as representatives from the Japanese robotics industries and the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) are participating in the seminar as speakers. The event is aimed at Japanese robotics companies in both industrial and service robotics, as well as key decision-makers from industry associations, research institutions and other Japanese multipliers.
